Palacký University Rector’s Office

The reception room in the historical building of Palacký University Rector’s Office was reconstructed in 2026 according to architect Petra Gavura’s design. The room has multiple functions: it serves as a place for receiving the rector’s visitors as well as an entry place for the ceremonial hall. Therefore, the new arrangement puts emphasis on convenient movement between the individual rooms and on creating a presentable meeting facility.

The colours and materials are related to the surrounding areas of the Rector’s Office. The interior uses shades of beige, stone decorations and chrome items, which are also used in furniture bases. The interior was created by Gavi interiér s.r.o..

We furnished the room with our Lotus swivel conference chairs with upholstered seats and aluminium bases. Their design naturally fits in with the materials and colours of the whole space.
